Lodestone Green sets out to take a leadership position in our sector by integrating and delivering social, community and environmental benefits across our business activities, as well as contributing to the fights against climate change.
The concept builds on our reputation for bringing value to the local community by helping to sell, buy and let property across Somerset and Dorset, whilst supporting local initiatives that help others.
The most notable of our pledges extends our HOME ethos by creating homes for nature, and we now have a dedicated page for sustainable and efficiently-built homes – an easy way to search Lodestone Green Homes.
Our Pledges
- In partnership with Wanderlands we will plant an English Oak tree sapling for every house we sell. We have purposefully selected the English Oak as a mature oak tree that provides a home to a staggering 2,300 species of wildlife!
- We ensure that wherever valid, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly attributes of a home will be highlighted through our marketing.
- For buyers looking to purchase sustainable homes, we have a dedicated list of properties with such credentials.
- We have moved to easy-to-download digital brochures and our goal is to be paper-free by 2025.
- Our viewing teams are all locally based to ensure that fewer vehicle miles are incurred.
- All our marketing boards are made sustainably from recycled plastic – eco-friendly correx – and then recycled to use again.
