Cathy Morris-Adams started work as a physicist at Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station. Her career also included teaching and homeopathy before she became an estate agent. Having found a job she loved, she went on to work with several national and local estate agencies, learning, observing and taking on the best aspects of each. Her varied career means that she is able to engage with people from all walks of life, with empathy, understanding and clear, strategic thinking.
Sue Macey’s background is in the television industry where she managed production departments and processes, resources and people. In 2011 she set up Treehouse Projects which offers specialist advice and consultancy to creative businesses on managing change in the workplace, extending into areas such as property strategy, branding and cultural change. Maintaining successful relationships at board level, stakeholder level and with external professionals has honed her communication, management and negotiation skills.

Francoise joined Lodestone when it opened its doors in 2016 and is an experienced property professional having worked both in the UK and internationally. Prior to her Lodestone life, she worked for a variety of leading relocation and estate agencies, and as a Somerset resident for over 30 years, she is a specialist in our local area. She is very proud to have been responsible for helping build our business into what it is today and looks forward to welcoming new clients in the years to come. Branch Manager, Wells
Charlie’s background is in the city where for over 30 years he worked for a variety of investment banks as a trader, relationship manager and compliance officer. Having managed cross-continental teams and dealt with people from many cultural backgrounds around the world, he has great empathy and understanding of people and their needs. He has also completed several renovation and new build projects over the years. With a love of property and a desire to work in a business where he felt real affinity, he moved to Somerset and worked for a well-respected local agent before joining Lodestone as Manager of their Wells branch.

Alex has a passion for people and property. She grew up in Somerset and has lived locally to Wells for the past 20 years so she knows most of Somerset’s nooks and crannies. Alex cut her teeth in property while working with an independent agency in Central London on the sales and lettings side. She has an entrepreneurial side too having run her own successful business in Somerset. Alex has an amazing knack for matching the right applicant to the right property, as well as being very persuasive and this has led to many very happy applicants and vendors during her time with Lodestone.

Having qualified as a Graphic Designer in his younger years Alistair quickly decided to follow his passion in property. Alistair brings a wealth of experience to Lodestone having worked as an agent in the South Somerset and North Dorset area for over 25 years, selling many fine village properties along the A303 corridor. Alistair has a proven track record in handling new homes to include individual modern eco builds and larger developments. Alistair has lived in the area for over 30 years and is very familiar with the many sought after villages and towns and looks forward to working with the Lodestone team in Bruton.

Simon grew up close to the stunning Jurassic Coastline and started his diverse career in property 35 years ago, at an agency in Blandford Forum. He has since worked for some of the best corporate and independent estate agents and has covered the whole of Dorset and Somerset, selling properties from Bridport to Castle Cary. He has sold everything from manor houses, rectories and farms to modern houses, cottages and building plots and has been quoted in the national, international and local press. Simon lives near Sherborne and when not working, can be found walking his Cocker Spaniel in the beautiful Dorset countryside and fishing on the River Frome.
After living and working in London for over 20 years, Virginia escaped to the country! Drawn by the excellent schools in the area, she and her family settled in one of the many idyllic, local villages.
Having always worked in creative services, her career experience spans an eclectic mix of interior design, contemporary craft, education, hospitality and charity fundraising. Her skills are bound together by good communication, great organisation and always an eye for detail. Virginia is now enjoying her Lodestone journey and works across all teams.
Lettings Manager, Wells
Kate, having lived in Somerset all her life, has extensive local knowledge of the area. Community minded she has been involved in various Town and Village projects. coupled with her love of the property market and ten years experience in rentals means Kate is well placed in our lettings department.
Initially an Environmental Geologist, Kate then took time off to concentrate on family life, which in turn led to a career change becoming a Rare Breed Pig Farmer. During this time, in conjunction with setting up a successful business renting out local properties to Glastonbury Festival goers, she renovated and furnished properties for short and long-term rental.
Rachel’s passion for property stems from a lifetime as a property renovator, developer, project manager and interior staging designer of both residential and holiday lets across Somerset and Cornwall.
Her experience working in conveyancing combined with multiple transactions as a vendor and purchaser herself brings a unique understanding to guide clients through the conveyancing process which ultimately leads to a successful exchange of contracts and completion.
Finding solutions during the sometimes delicate and challenging final stages of the selling/buying process is a key aspect of her role at Lodestone. Communication and diplomacy also play a vital role in this process.

Celia’s background is in the oil and gas industry in the North Sea, where she gained specialised experience honing her skills at targeting detail, keeping to deadlines and working with cross cultural teams in varied locations across Europe. Having moved to Somerset she embarked on property renovation with a special interest in interiors and then worked at Millfield School in the Art and Design department which expanded her appreciation of good design and architecture. Celia has recently been working for The Modern House in London and now is excited to be back in Somerset at Lodestone as the Cubis Bruton Sales Advisor.
Katrina van Dyk

Katrina grew up in the wonderful city of Bath and has since lived overseas and in various other counties but has always been hugely passionate about Somerset. Running a soft furnishings business for over twenty years she is excited by interiors and this, coupled with her love of properties, has meant she has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Lodestone viewing team for the last two years. Now finding herself with more time on her hands, she has brought her viewings experience to the Bruton team.
Sales Assistant – Wells
After living and working in London for 20 years, Caroline is now based full time in Somerset – drawn to the area by its beautiful countryside and creative atmosphere.
Having graduated with a degree in Journalism and enjoyed a career in the television industry, Caroline is a natural communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. A keen interest in people and places has sustained in every aspect of her work. With a love of interior design, and hands-on experience in all facets of property renovation, Caroline is enjoying being part of the Lodestone team and pursuing her passion for property.
Lettings Advisor, Bruton and Shaftesbury
Rosa grew up in Somerset & Dorset and has a broad knowledge of local areas in both counties as well as Wiltshire. Having over 4 years of experience in property, she has spent 3 years in London, working as a property manager for a national agency and was based in both Chelsea and Notting Hill. Most of her clients were overseas so having great communication skills were key. Rosa takes pride in matching applicants to the right property for them. She looks forward to growing the rental business into Dorset being based in both Shaftesbury & Bruton offices.

Growing up in a small rural village in the heart of the Blackmore Vale, Estate Agency life for Ali began in the market town of Sturminster Newton. In 2006 she moved to a national agent in Sherborne, this was the perfect opportunity not only to work with many familiar faces but also to introduce buyers from out of the area to the bustling towns, idyllic villages and diverse range of properties that Dorset has to offer.
Ali’s day begins with an early morning dog walk before heading off up the hill to join the Lodestone team in Shaftesbury
After twenty years as a PA in the banking sector and the House of Lords, Sarah gave it all up to move to the country. With a passion for the countryside and for properties and interiors, she is thoroughly enjoying this change of direction. An intuitive communicator and having a keen eye for detail, Sarah is putting these skills to use in writing property descriptions. With excellent organisational and interpersonal skills from years as a PA, Sarah manages the Bruton office every Saturday. She is also part of the viewing team and loves getting to see inside our beautiful properties – they are a constant source of inspiration.
