Wheathill is a hamlet in the parish of Lovington, in South Somerset and lies 3 miles south west of the town of Castle Cary, between the rivers Brue and Cary. There is a golf course at Wheathill, and a popular pub and restaurant at nearby Lydford, as well as a local shop and petrol station.
Castle Cary is a picturesque and thriving market town with many interesting features including the Horse Pond and delightful, architecturally interesting buildings.
