The Evercreech Church of England VC Primary School for children aged 5-11 is a "good" school as rated by Ofsted. There is also the Acorn Pre School. Sexeys state run boarding school (which takes day pupils too) in Bruton and two very good independent schools namely Kings Bruton and Bruton School for girls are only ten minutes away. Two particularly good local prep schools are All Hallows and Hazlegrove. Other notable schools in the area are Wells Cathedral School, Downside, Millfield, Strode Sixth Form College, Sherborne Schools and the Bath schools are also within easy reach.
