Plot 9 is full of light, the dual aspect 21ft sitting room as well as a large 25ft well equipped open plan kitchen, dining room and living room create a great feeling of space and light with two sets of French doors leading to the garden. There is a well fitted utility room with access to the double carport and double garage. On the first floor from the galleried landing are 5 bedrooms, 3 en suites and a further family bathroom. The master bedroom has excellent fitted wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower. The house has lots of storage and well thought out details and is finished to an excellent standard.

The village of Wookey has a couple of pubs as well as a primary school which was founded in the village in 1844 (in 1880, H G Wells joined the school as a pupil-teacher aged 12) for around 85 children aged 4 to 11 of Wookey and the surrounding area. The name Wookey is thought to come from the old English word "wocig", meaning an animal trap or maybe from the Celtic word "ogof" meaning cave, possibly appearing also as "Woky" hence Wookey village is often confused with its sister village Wookey Hole which is perhaps best known today for the Wookey Hole Caves
The ancient city of Wells, which is the smallest Cathedral city in England, and offers all the usual amenities that you would expect in a small town including banks, doctors surgeries, dentists and a selection of primary schools and the excellent Blue School and Wells Cathedral school. The high street is vibrant with a small selection of the usual chain stores plus a variety of independent shops and restaurants and pubs as well as a twice weekly market and a choice of supermarkets including Waitrose, Tesco, Lidl and Morrisons. At the very heart of the city is the medieval Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and Vicars’ Close (reputed to be the oldest surviving residential street in Europe).
The Wells Festivals are increasing in popularity each year with the Literary Festival now taking place over two weeks and attracting big names in the literary world, the very well attended Food Festival and many regular Arts festivals. With both the Cathedral School and the Cathedral itself there are endless opportunities for musical concerts, plus regular shows and comedy nights in the Little Theatre.
In under half an hour away is the very fashionable small town of Bruton which has the very popular restaurant/coffee/bread shop called ‘At the Chapel’ and the world famous Hauser and Wirth Art Gallery.
There are Golf Clubs in Wells and on the Mendips, as well as sailing and fishing which can be found on the Chew Valley and Blagdon Lakes.
Bristol, Bath and Frome are all within approximately an hour's drive and a mainline station with trains to London Paddington, is situated less than 12 miles away at Castle Cary, Templecombe offers trains directly into Waterloo, with further mainline stations at Yeovil, Bristol and Bath.
