Property Summary
Substantial period terraced house in central Bruton. A happy home for an elderly lady for twenty years, now a home that most people would probably want to update and in fact with a clever architect, this could be a stunning property in a very popular location. Particular features of this property are the pretty garden, off road parking and a garage.Hadrian House is a solid stone built property that used to be the Bruton bakery. The house is a quirky shape with big open plan ground floor consisting of hallway, sitting room with open fire and steps up to dining area with feature window. The kitchen faces on to the west facing garden and links to a conservatory and downstairs WC. There is a very useful cellar that is easily accessed via a proper staircase, has a radiator and is currently set up as an office and storage area. The spiral staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a bathroom, and two bedrooms- one is small so possibly a study. Stairs continue up again to the second floor which has a large attic bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
Outside
The pretty garden is accessed via the conservatory and there is a gate out to the off road parking area and garage. This would be the obvious way to enter the property when arriving by car.
