There is a good pub within walking distance and wonderful opportunities for dog walking on the surrounding Mendip hills. Local shopping, supermarkets including Waitrose and Tesco, and other amenities can be found in the historic city of Wells just 5 miles away. Shepton Mallet offers all the usual opportunities of a thriving market town. Transport links are good with Castle Cary railway station just 15 minutes drive away, and the A303 (with direct access to London and the South West) 20 minutes drive.
