Hazeldene is well set back from the road in the middle of the village. For a property in the centre of a village, it has an unusually large garden at the front and ample parking area. On the ground floor, there is a hall leading to the sitting room, dining room and open plan kitchen and breakfast room. Double doors can be opened between the reception rooms to create one bigger room, ideal for entertaining. The sitting room also features double French doors leading to the garden. The kitchen is fully fitted with granite worktops, a Rangemaster Toledo 5 ring burner and electric plate as well as all the usual facilities. There is also a cloakroom and a glazed boot room. At the rear of the hall is a utility room with the gas boiler, worktop and space and plumbing for a washing machine and dryer.
On the first floor, there are three good sized bedrooms, (one with en-suite bathroom) and a further family bathroom. The bathrooms feature modern taps and shower units, and one has the additional luxury of a Jacuzzi bath. Upstairs, from a good-sized landing, are two further bedrooms with another separate cloakroom. One of these rooms was previously a bathroom, so plumbing is still available should someone want to reinstate it.
Outside, the house (and the garage) is approached through an attractive driveway laid to gravel. At the rear, is a paved terrace leading to a mature and well-maintained garden, approximately a quarter of an acre in size and mainly laid to lawn. Beyond the lawn is a chicken house and run, a greenhouse, and a garden shed with power – there is also a tree house!
Please note that the rear of the kitchen in Hazeldean is attached to the utility room of the neighbouring property.
