Property Summary
One of the best houses in Bruton. A perfect example of great styling and practical design which has turned this traditional Edwardian house into a light filled innovative family space with a large garden, outbuildings and parking in one of the most desired locations in Somerset. The tone is set immediately as you enter the well proportioned stunning entrance hallway which is definitely a 'wow' moment. Expectations are high on entering, but certainly not let down as you walk into the large open plan kitchen/dining room which very much feels the heart of the house. It is straight out of a style magazine full of carefully choreographed colours, textures, design all housed in a spacious south facing room overlooking the large garden.
This lovely room is light, airy and elegantly designed, but is also a comfortable area for family living. It leads off into another light filled room that could be a family room . There are several other useful downstairs rooms including a pantry, an office and a WC/ cloakroom.
Upstairs there are four good sized bedrooms with two bathrooms and large utility room with WC. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms including the master bedroom which has lovely views out across the garden. The large loft with good ceiling height presents a great opportunity for further bedrooms a master suite or maybe a quiet Yoga room with the relevant planning consents.
Outside there is a double garage and purpose-built recording studio. The large garden has a great decked area perfect for enjoying a beer and soaking up the last of the evening sun. The lawn extends generously at the back of the house with a large flat area ideal for kicking a ball around. There is ample space to extend to the side of the house if required (subject obviously to the necessary planning consents).
