Situation

Longburton is a popular Dorset village with a church, a pub and a village hall and is just 3 miles from the market town of Sherborne. Sherborne is a vibrant and thriving town and a new arts centre “Arts Farm” and “The Paddock Project” will create an outlet for artists across all disciplines and is set to become a regional arts hub. Other towns within driving distance include the regional centre of Yeovil (5.5 miles) and the county town of Dorchester (18 miles). Sherborne has a regular mainline service to Waterloo (approximately 2.5 hours) and Castle Cary has a direct line to Paddington (approximately 90 minutes). Bournemouth, Bristol and Exeter Airports are all easily accessible. Sherborne has an excellent range of schools with two primary schools within the town both feeding to The Gryphon School for secondary education. Private schools in the area include Sherborne Prep which feeds into Sherborne Boys and Sherborne Girls. Hazelgrove prep school, Leweston, Bryanston, Clayesmore, St Marys Shaftesbury and the Bruton schools are within travelling distance.

Daisy Cottage is accessed through the gate for number 26 and along the footpath leading up to the gate for Daisy Cottage, number 28.
