Property Summary
28 Burrowfield is one of a row of red brick terraced houses along a quiet lane. From the front garden the front door opens into a small porch and then into the hallway. Built-in cupboards here make great storage for coats and shoes. The sitting room is welcoming and cosy with an open fire and is very sunny and light with French doors into the south facing front garden. This then leads through to a spacious and contemporary kitchen/dining area. In the kitchen, glossy black units and wooden work surfaces make a stylish statement, with an integrated fridge/freezer and freestanding cooker. A utility/laundry area has been cleverly incorporated behind doors to keep clutter out of sight. The kitchen is open through to a glass extension which makes an ideal dining space, flooded with natural light and with doors out to the rear garden.
Upstairs a wide landing leads to two double bedrooms and a modern family bathroom. The bedroom at the rear has lovely countryside views. There is also another small room with a mezzanine level bed, making the ultimate use of space or a great teen hangout! A second staircase leads up to a wonderuful master bedroom which is spacious and light with both casement and Velux windows, eaves storage and a built-in wardrobe. A modern, all white, en-suite shower room complements it perfectly.
Outside
From the lane, a garden gate opens into a pretty and secluded front garden with a lawn and gravelled area leading to the front door. Parking can be available at the end of the lane.
At the rear, a long garden backs onto allotments and open countryside beyond. There is plenty of space on the lawn for family games and a sturdy Wendy house at the end has hosted children’s sleepovers! There are apple and pear trees, and a gravelled area by the house which makes the perfect space for outside dining.
A right of way from the end of the rear garden leads round to a garage area and then access to the road. It may be possible to rent garage no. 7 by separate arrangement with the owners of the garages - Yarlington Homes.
