From your initial enquiry to your moving-in day, we will look after all your needs and show you properties which fit your requirements and budget. 

We charge an administration fee which is the equivalent to one week’s rent plus VAT.  This fee covers the Tenancy Agreement, referencing and guarantors for one tenant.  There will be an additional charge of £60 (inc VAT) per additional tenant.  Please note that we do not do managed lettings.

Situation
Old Wheelwright Cottage is in the heart of the pretty village of Lamyatt which has an historic Church and a recently built Village Hall. It is an active village with annual fetes, firework displays, movie nights, yoga and pilates.
The very fashionable town of Bruton is a few miles away.The town has several well-known restaurants, pubs and bars including “At the Chapel” and “The Roth Bar” at the world-renowned Hauser & Wirth Gallery. The town also has a doctors surgery, pharmacy, vet, post office, several mini supermarkets, fuel station and numerous independent shops.
There are excellent local independent schools include King’s School Bruton, Bruton School for Girls and also the state owned boarding school - Sexey's. Bruton has it's own primary school and in close proximity are Millfield, Hazelgrove and All Hallows prep schools.
For further shopping and recreational activities, Bath, Bristol, Wells and Yeovil are all within an hour’s drive. The A303 provides a direct route to London via the M3 and there is a mainline rail service from Bruton to London Paddington (approx. 2 hours) and also the new train to Waterloo in addition to the mainline services from Castle Cary station which is 5 minutes away. Airports in Bristol and Exeter offer connections within the UK, Europe and beyond.

Going south from Shepton Mallet on the A371, turn left towards Bruton and after about half a mile take the first left sign posted to Lamyatt. Continue up the hill to the centre of the village and the Old Wheelwright Cottage is opposite the orchard and next to the old phone box and letter box. Turn left immediately after passing the house and the garage is the first on the left with parking in front. After parking walk back about 20 feet towards the lane and there are two gates up some steps, Old Wheelwrights, is the full height gate on the left.
