If you are new to the area, the Lodestone team is able to provide you with all the local information you need in order to help you to find the perfect rental property and location. From your initial enquiry to your moving-in day, we will look after all your needs and show you properties which fit your requirements and budget. 

We charge an administration fee which is the equivalent to one week’s rent plus VAT.  This fee covers the Tenancy Agreement, referencing and guarantors for one tenant.  There will be an additional charge of £60 (inc VAT) per additional tenant.  Please note that we do not do managed lettings.

The Cider Barn is a beautiful light and spacious converted barn set in a rural location surrounded by fields and countryside.
The front door opens to a large entrance hall with door to kitchen/dining room. The kitchen comes with fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The sitting room is the otherside of the entrance hall and is a bright and airy room with an open fire. There is also a downstairs w.c and shower room. A wooden staircase leads up to the first floor where there are two good sized double bedrooms with built in wardrobes, two bathrooms and two w.c’s.  The larger of the two bedrooms also has a large walk in storage cupboard.  

Outside there is parking and a garden and an outbuilding for additional storage.

Situation

The Cider Barn is located in the small Hamlet of Lottisham which is very close to the sought after village of Baltonsborough. The village has many facilities including a parish church, Farm Shop with Post Office, popular public house which has a visiting Fish and Chip van on Thursday night which regularly brings the villagers together, and a primary school and active village hall. The village is well known locally for its excellent summer fair which brings people in from all the other villages. 

Other nearby schools include Millfield Senior and Prep Schools, both within about 10 minutes' drive, Kings School Bruton, Wells Cathedral School, Downside, All Hallows, St Dunstans School Glastonbury, Strode Sixth Form College in Street, Sexey’s School Bruton (state boarding), Ansford School at Castle Cary and Wells Blue School.

The Cider Barn also has easy access to Street and Glastonbury where all local facilities, such as independent shops and chain stores, supermarkets, Doctors surgeries, dentists and a minor injuries hospital can be found, plus in Street there is the renown Clarks Village outlet. 

Glastonbury 5 miles. Street 6 miles. Castle Cary 9 miles with a mainline rail service (Paddington 110 minutes) Yeovil 13 miles. A303 is 8 miles. There is a mainline rail service from Castle Cary to London Paddington taking 110 minutes.  It is a 30-minute drive to Templecombe station which is 120 minutes into Waterloo.
