Founded in 2013 the “Frome Independent” is an award-winning street market that is held on the first Sunday of each month and attracts up to 80,000 people per year. The equally fashionable own of Bruton is a fifteen-minute drive and is home to the renowned art Gallery, Hauser and Wirth, the restaurant At the Chapel and the fabulous country mansion, Babington House, is a few miles away. The larger and beautiful City of Bath is approximately 35 minutes north and offers a plethora of culture and history. Transport links are excellent with a mainline railway from Frome or Castle Cary to London Paddington and Bristol Airport is approximately 45 minutes to the west.
Nunney First School has been rated “Good with outstanding features” by Ofsted and feeds into excellent secondary schools in Frome. There is also an excellent secondary school in Bruton, Sexeys, and is a state day/boarding school. Private schools include All Hallows Prep, Downside, Kings Bruton, Bruton for Girls and the Bath schools, Prior Park, Monkton Combe, and King Edwards to name just a few.
From Frome take the A361 towards Nunney. At the Nunney Catch roundabout take the fourth exit (passing the garage). Continue into Nunney and take a left turning (over the little bridge). Take the next left and The Green House can be found on your left-hand side.
