This area has an excellent range of both state and independent schools. The nearby village of Evercreech has a primary school, Shepton Mallet has a secondary school, plus in Bruton there is a primary school and Sexeys state run boarding school (which takes day pupils too) and two very good independent schools namely Kings Bruton and Bruton School for girls. Two particularly good local prep schools are All Hallows and Hazlegrove. Other notable schools in the area are Wells Cathedral School, Downside, Millfield, Strode Sixth Form College, Sherborne Schools and the Bath schools are also within easy reach.

Directions
If travelling from the north turn left towards Evercreech opposite the Bath and West Showground in the village turn left again signposted to Stoney Stratton. At the T junction turn right and continue into the village, and the property will be on the left.

If travelling from the south head out of Bruton towards Milton Clevedon and turn right signposted Stoney Stratton and continue into the village. The property will be on the right hand side.
