Thank you to all our clients, friends and followers for your support since Lodestone launched in September and a very Happy Christmas to you all and we hope you have a happy and successful 2017.  Please continue to follow our blog next year when we hope we will have more and more to tell  you.  We are sorry to lose Jill from our team.  She has been amazing in helping us set up a robust and compliant lettings service which some of our clients have already complimented us on.  The House Hut in Frome will benefit hugely from her experience in 2017 - good luck Jill!  And we welcome to the team Francoise Jackson who has worked with Cathy previously.  Francoise brings experience of sales and rentals to Lodestone together with bags of energy and enthusiasm.  See you in 2017.

Gosh it's been a busy few weeks so apologies for the absence of our blogs.  We've let a couple of properties very quickly - there are simply not enough rental properties to meet demand for those of you thinking of letting!  Our lovely house in Glastonbury has gone under offer and we are out meeting lots of owners of properties who are interested in appointing Lodestone which is great news.  So 2017 looks as if it will be really busy.  And hopefully some of you will have seen our signs up - certainly those of you who follow us through Twitter and Facebook.  We're supporting the Wells Comedy Festival next year which will be fun and all those shoppers at the Babcary Christmas Sale will now have a Lodestone shopping bag.  Cathy said November and December are usually quiet months in the estate agency world - not for Lodestone!

http://www.propertyindustryeye.com/time-to-ditch-the-suits-ex-agent-tells-industry/   - out with the tweed jackets and in with the leather!   We received another instruction this week for a lovely property which is a perfect project, so look out.  And we had a fantastic time at the event we sponsored at The Wells Literature Festival.  John O'Farrell was interviewed by Max Cotton - a very witty, entertaining and enjoyable talk which we were very proud to be the sponsor of.  Follow our Twitter feed for photos.

We've got another lovely rental coming up in BA4 (bordering with BA6) with equestrian facilities so look out for it on Right Move and our website.  In the meantime, we met with The Frome Times and The List so we are spreading the Lodestone gospel far and wide.  We have a number of applicants looking for large rentals and rural properties around the £500k mark so do contact us.

Another instruction this week which is great.  A lovely property just outside Bruton which is to be marketed discreetly so you will need to contact us if you would like to find out more.....   In the meantime we had a good meeting with Rightmove this week which enabled us to access all sorts of interesting data some of which shows that property in the South West is holding its own regarding prices compared to other areas in the country.  Good news for some and not such good news for others but shows it is the place to be.  Remember to follow us on Twitter and Facebook.  And a big thank you to local people who are giving us so much support....as we go into Week 6!
